As a practicing attorney, I have daily opportunity to share knowledge with peers, clients, and subordinates. Were it up to me, though, I would spend even more time in a formal teaching capacity. I truly enjoy tutoring and teaching! Helping a student understand the theory and practice behind the material at hand is so much more valuable than rote memorization, and I find that process to be very rewarding.Along with my degree from the New England School of Law, I also hold a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Boston University. I specialize in tutoring all areas of English, several areas of mathematics, and in graduate test prep. Specifically, I have experience tutoring in writing (creative writing, fiction writing, persuasive writing, and essay composition and editing), as well as in reading mechanics and comprehension. In the mathematics arena, I am very comfortable tutoring elementary and middle school math as well as all levels of Algebra (pre-Algebra through Algebra 3/4) and Geometry.I am qualified to assist students with graduate test prep, specifically the LSAT. I am confident in my ability to tutor in all of the LSAT areas: Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and the essay section.In my free time, you can find me watching football or hockey, playing strategy games, reading, or doing some creative writing.
